Oktoberfest in Campbell Park on 9 and 10 October, Fright Fiesta at Gulliver's from the 10th, Mamma Mia! from the 13th, and Olney's fireworks on 1 November.

The first big weekend of the autumn is Oktoberfest in Campbell Park on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October, and the theatre has its two biggest musicals of the season back to back: Mamma Mia! from 13 October and Matilda from 28 October. MK Gallery opens its major L.S. Lowry exhibition on Saturday 24 October, half term runs from 26 to 30 October, and the fireworks start in Olney on Sunday 1 November, four days before Wolverton’s free display on Bonfire Night itself.

Getting there

Most of the city centre listings, the theatre, MK Gallery, Middleton Hall and Campbell Park, are within a walk of each other at the eastern end of Midsummer Boulevard. Central Milton Keynes parking is charged from 7am to 6pm every day, Sundays included; our parking page has the tariffs. Check roadworks and travel before a weekend trip across the grid.
